LaTeri McFadden, Ph.D. 

LaTeri is L McFadden Brand Official's founder and chief experience officer and is a Baltimore native. She attended Bowie State University, earning her Bachelor of Science. Towson University, earning a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Development and post-bachelor’s Certification in Management and Leadership Development. Finally, she attended Capella University, earning a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Organization and Management with a specialization in Human Resource Management. Her research focused on the generational perspective of work-life balance and wellness in the nonprofit sector. 

Dr. McFadden has been a Program Manager for a Nonprofit, Senior Benefits Analyst, Leave Management Subject Matter Expert for midsize to large firms, and Adjunct Professor in business, nonprofit management, and human resource management. 

Dr. McFadden is a published Author, co-authoring a chapter in The Dark Side of Reform: Exploring the Impact of Public Policy on Racial Equity (2022).  She is a public speaker giving presentations on nonprofit management for the Enoch Pratt Free Library and partnering with the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights to present on The Shadow Pandemic: Gender Inequality in the Wake of COVID-19.

In addition, Dr. McFadden is an advocate for her community through membership in various organizations. Currently, she is a general member of the Greater Baltimore Urban League and a Life Member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated, where she has served in numerous leadership roles and on numerous committees.
